
Juliet Hulme
Juliet Hulme is a New Zealand woman who, in 1954, became widely known due to her involvement in a notorious murder case. She, along with her friend Pauline Parker, was convicted of stabbing Parker’s mother to death, a crime inspired by their intense friendship and mutual obsession. Hulme was 15 at the time. Later, she changed her name and became a successful author under the pseudonym Anne Perry, writing historical detective novels. Her past stirred public interest, but her later career demonstrated personal transformation.
