Judy Johnson

Judy Johnson was a talented American baseball player and coach, known for his skill as a third baseman. Born in 1912, he played primarily for the Negro Leagues during a time when African American players were barred from Major League Baseball. Johnson was a key figure in Black baseball, recognized for his excellent fielding and leadership. After his playing career, he contributed to the game by mentoring others and helping to preserve the history of Black baseball players. In 1975, he was inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame, honoring his significant impact on the sport.
