Juche ideology

Juche is North Korea’s official ideology, emphasizing self-reliance and independence. It advocates that a nation and its people should be autonomous in politics, economics, and defense, minimizing reliance on external powers. Developed by Kim Il-sung, Juche promotes the idea that individuals and the state should work collectively to achieve prosperity by fostering internal strength, resilience, and self-sufficiency. It combines elements of socialism with a strong nationalist focus, encouraging pride in national identity and sovereignty. In essence, Juche calls for a self-sufficient, independent approach to governance and societal development.
