Juan Marichal is a former Dominican-American Major League Baseball pitcher known for his effective and elegant pitching style in the 1960s and 1970s. Renowned for his high leg kick, control, and durability, he played primarily for the San Francisco Giants. Marichal achieved multiple All-Star selections and was one of the era's top strikeout artists, recording over 2,000 career strikeouts. His accomplishments include winning the 1967 ERA title and pitching a no-hitter in 1963.
