Juan de Austria

Juan de Austria was a notable 16th-century Spanish military leader and nobleman, born as the illegitimate son of Holy Roman Emperor Charles V. He is best known for leading the Spanish fleet to victory over the Ottoman Empire at the Battle of Lepanto in 1571, a significant turning point in Mediterranean history.
