José María delos Reyes

José María delos Reyes was a Filipino revolutionary leader and the elder brother of José Rizal, the national hero of the Philippines. Born in 1869, he played a significant role in the country's fight for independence from Spanish rule. A dedicated patriot, he organized revolutionary activities and supported his brother’s efforts in advancing Filipino nationalist ideals. His leadership helped lay the groundwork for the eventual liberation of the Philippines. Although less famed than his brother, José María's contributions are recognized as important in the country's history of resistance and independence movement.
