Jonas Basanavičius

Jonas Basanavičius was a prominent Lithuanian historian, cultural activist, and key figure in the country's national movement during the late 19th and early 20th centuries. He is often called the "Patriarch of the Lithuanian Nation" for his efforts to revive Lithuanian language, traditions, and identity.
