Joint Forces Command (JFCOM)

Joint Forces Command (JFCOM) was a U.S. military organization responsible for coordinating and integrating the efforts of different branches—Army, Navy, Air Force, and Marine Corps—during joint operations. Its goal was to ensure all services work together effectively in complex missions, such as humanitarian aid, disaster response, or warfare. By fostering collaboration, JFCOM helped improve communication, planning, and readiness across the military. Although it was disestablished in 2011, its functions and lessons continue to influence how U.S. military joint efforts are organized.
