Johnstown Chiefs
The Johnstown Chiefs were a professional ice hockey team based in Johnstown, Pennsylvania, that played in the North American Hockey League from 1981 to 1987 and then in the ECHL from 1988 to 2010. They served as a developmental team, helping young players improve their skills and potentially move to higher leagues. Known for their passionate local fan base, the Chiefs were a significant part of the community's sports culture. In 2010, the team relocated and became the Greenville Road Warriors (now the Greenville Swamp Rabbits), ending the Chiefs' 29-year presence in Johnstown.
