John Wayne Gacy

John Wayne Gacy was an American serial killer and sex offender active in the 1970s. He was convicted of murdering at least 33 young men and boys, often luring them to his home with promises of work or money. Gacy, who also performed as a clown at children's parties, concealed his crimes until authorities discovered their extent in 1978. His actions and double life shocked the public, leading to his execution in 1994. His case remains one of the most notorious instances of serial murder in U.S. history.
