John W. Taylor

John W. Taylor (1820–1887) was an influential figure in early Mormon history, serving as the third president of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints from 1880 until his death. Taylor played a key role in the church's development and expansion, particularly during a time of conflict with the U.S. government over the practice of polygamy.
