John Strachan (1778–1867) was a prominent Canadian educator, church leader, and politician. He played a key role in shaping early Ontario society as the first principal of King's College (later University of Toronto) and as a bishop in the Anglican Church. Strachan was influential in promoting education, religion, and conservative values in 19th-century Canada.
