John Rayleigh

Sir John William Strutt, known as Lord Rayleigh, was a British physicist renowned for his discovery of argon, an inert gas in the Earth's atmosphere, and for explaining the phenomenon of the blue sky. His work on light scattering explained why the sky appears blue and helped understand sound waves and fluid dynamics. Rayleigh's research significantly advanced physics and earned him the Nobel Prize in Physics in 1904. His contributions helped deepen our understanding of gases, light, and waves, influencing both theoretical insights and practical applications in science.
