John Mitchel (not to be confused with John Mitchel, the business executive)

John Mitchel (1815–1875) was an Irish journalist, activist, and politician known for his strong nationalist views. He championed Irish independence from British rule and was a fierce supporter of the Irish cause, often advocating for rebellion and resistance. Mitchel was also a writer who used his platform to criticize British policies in Ireland.
