John Bruton (politician)

John Bruton is an Irish politician who served as the country’s Prime Minister (Taoiseach) from 1990 to 1994. He is a member of Fine Gael, a center-right political party, and played a key role in Ireland’s economic development and European integration. Bruton helped guide Ireland through economic reforms and worked to promote peace and stability, especially during negotiations related to Northern Ireland.
