John Bruton (politician)

John Bruton is an Irish politician who served as the country’s Prime Minister (Taoiseach) from 1990 to 1994. He is a member of Fine Gael, a center-right political party, and played a key role in Ireland’s economic development and European integration. Bruton helped guide Ireland through economic reforms and worked to promote peace and stability, especially during negotiations related to Northern Ireland. After his time as Taoiseach, he served as the European Union’s ambassador to the United States and continued to contribute to political and economic discussions on an international level.
