
John Adams (politician)
John Adams (1735–1826) was a founding father of the United States, serving as the second President from 1797 to 1801. A lawyer and diplomat, he played a key role in advocating for independence from Britain and helped draft the Declaration of Independence. Adams also served as America’s first Vice President under George Washington.
