Johan von Neumann

Johan von Neumann was a pioneering mathematician and scientist who helped develop the concept of the modern computer architecture. He contributed to the design of the digital computer by proposing the stored-program model, where both data and instructions are stored in the same memory, enabling computers to be flexible and programmable. His work laid the foundation for much of computer science and artificial intelligence. Beyond computing, he also made significant contributions to quantum mechanics, economics, and nuclear physics.
