Joaquín Castro

Joaquín Castro is an American politician and member of the Democratic Party, serving as a U.S. Congressman representing Texas. He is known for advocating issues such as healthcare, education, and immigration reform. Joaquín is also notable for being one of the few Hispanic members of Congress, emphasizing representation for Latino communities. Before his congressional role, he was a city council member in San Antonio. Additionally, he is the twin brother of Julián Castro, who served as the Mayor of San Antonio and as Secretary of Housing and Urban Development.
