jineteada
Jineteada is a traditional Argentine sport that involves riding and attempting to stay atop a bucking horse, called a "caballo de rodeo." Riders, known as jinete, wear protective gear and hold onto a rope tied to the horse's halter, aiming to stay on for at least eight seconds. The event tests the rider’s skill, strength, and balance while showcasing the horse's agility and spirit. Jineteada is an integral part of Argentine rural culture, often featured in festivals like the National Rodeo, celebrating herding skills and equestrian heritage.
