Jim Elliott

Jim Elliott was an American Christian missionary and evangelical activist known for his dedication to spreading Christianity. In the early 1950s, he and his team attempted to reach the Auca people, an indigenous tribe in Ecuador, who had little contact with outsiders. Elliott believed in sharing his faith through personal relationships and was willing to face significant risks to do so. Tragically, he and four others were killed by the tribe in 1956. His story highlights themes of faith, sacrifice, and commitment, and his life continues to inspire many for his willingness to serve others at great personal peril.
