JFCOM (United States Joint Forces Command)
The United States Joint Forces Command (JFCOM) was a military organization responsible for coordinating and integrating the efforts of different branches of the U.S. military—Army, Navy, Air Force, and Marines—to operate effectively together. Its goal was to improve joint operational capabilities, develop strategies, and ensure readiness for complex missions worldwide. JFCOM also worked on disaster response and interoperability of military systems. In 2011, it was disbanded, and its responsibilities were absorbed into other parts of the Department of Defense to streamline efforts and enhance national security coordination.
