Jewish Temple

The Jewish Temple was a sacred place in Jerusalem where Jews worshiped, offered sacrifices, and conducted important religious rituals. Originally built in ancient times, it served as a central spiritual hub and symbol of the Jewish faith. The First Temple was constructed around 957 BCE and destroyed in 586 BCE; the Second Temple was built later and stood until 70 CE, when it was destroyed by the Romans. Today, the site is home to the Western Wall, a remaining prayer area.
