Jewish Scriptures
The Jewish Scriptures, also called the Tanakh, are the sacred texts of Judaism, comprising three parts: the Torah (Law), which includes the first five books detailing creation, laws, and history; the Nevi'im (Prophets), which contains historical accounts and prophetic writings; and the Ketuvim (Writings), a diverse collection of poetry, wisdom, and stories. These texts explore God's relationship with the Jewish people, ethical teachings, and spiritual principles. They are foundational to Jewish faith and culture, influencing not only Judaism but also Christianity and Western thought.
