Jet Flow

A jet flow refers to a stream of fluid—such as air, water, or gas—that is forcibly propelled through a nozzle or opening at high speed. This rapid movement causes the fluid to accelerate and create a focused, directed jet. Jet flows are common in many applications, like jet engines propelling aircraft, waterjets slicing through materials, or fountains shooting water. The behavior of a jet flow depends on factors like speed, pressure, and the surrounding environment, influencing how the fluid spreads, mixes, and interacts with its surroundings.
