Jerusalem's Western Wall
The Western Wall, also known as the Wailing Wall, is a remaining part of the ancient Second Temple in Jerusalem, a sacred site for Jews. It is located in the Old City and is considered a powerful symbol of faith and resilience. The wall is a place where people come to pray, reflect, and connect with their spiritual heritage. Historically, it’s significant because it is one of the few surviving structures from the Jewish Temple complex destroyed in 70 CE. Today, the Western Wall is a place of religious importance and a focal point for Jewish prayer and pilgrimage.
