Jerry Rubin

Jerry Rubin was a prominent American social activist and counterculture figure in the 1960s. Initially involved in the civil rights movement, he became a leader of the anti-Vietnam War protests and the radical youth movement known as the " hippies." Rubin co-founded the Yippies (Youth International Party), using humor and theatrical protests to challenge political and social norms.
