Jerry Fodor (philosopher)

Jerry Fodor was a prominent philosopher and cognitive scientist known for his work on the nature of mind and language. He argued that the mind has a modular structure, meaning different mental processes (like language or vision) operate independently in specialized "modules." Fodor believed that much of our thinking is mediated by innate mental structures and that language and thought are deeply interconnected.
