Jefferson Scholars
Jefferson Scholars are highly selective academic awards given to outstanding undergraduate students at the University of Virginia. Established in 1972, they recognize students who demonstrate exceptional intellectual ability, leadership, and service. The program provides scholarships that support their college education and develop their leadership potential through mentorship, seminars, and networking opportunities. Jefferson Scholars aim to cultivate future leaders who will contribute positively to society, embodying the values of Thomas Jefferson—knowledge, leadership, and public service.
