Jedburgh

The Jedburghs were special Allied teams during World War II, composed of American, British, and other Allied volunteers. They were sent behind enemy lines to support resistance fighters, gather intelligence, and aid in sabotage and guerrilla warfare. Their goal was to weaken the enemy from within, assist in the liberation of occupied territories, and coordinate resistance efforts. These teams operated covertly, often in dangerous conditions, and played a critical role in disrupting German operations and paving the way for larger Allied advancements.
