Jayadratha

Jayadratha is a character from the Indian epic Mahabharata, known for his loyalty to the Kauravas, the antagonists in the story. He was the king of Sindhu and the brother-in-law of Duryodhana, one of the primary Kaurava leaders. During the great Kurukshetra battle, Jayadratha played a key role by aiding the Kauravas and trying to prevent the Pandavas from achieving victory. However, he became infamous for his actions leading to the death of Arjuna’s son, which ultimately resulted in his own death the following day, as part of Avenging that loss during the war.
