Jat State

Jat State refers to the idea of creating a separate administrative or political area primarily for the Jat community, a prominent social group in northern India, particularly in Haryana, Punjab, and western Uttar Pradesh. Historically, some Jats sought greater self-governance or recognition due to their large population and social influence. While the concept has appeared in discussions and protests, there is no current official independent Jat State. Instead, Jats are involved in regional politics and movements advocating for their social and economic interests within existing Indian states.
