Jat farmers
Jat farmers belong to the Jat community, primarily found in northern India and Pakistan. Traditionally, they are agricultural producers, known for their hard work and expertise in farming, especially in wheat and rice cultivation. Many Jat farmers own small to large landholdings and have played a significant role in India’s agricultural economy. Their community has also been active in social and political movements advocating for farmers' rights. Despite economic and environmental challenges, Jat farmers remain a vital part of the rural landscape, contributing to food security and rural livelihoods in the regions they inhabit.
