Japanese rescue submersible (Shinkai 6500)

The Shinkai 6500 is a Japanese deep-sea rescue submersible designed to operate at depths of up to 6,500 meters (about 21,300 feet). Built for scientific research and emergency rescue missions, it can carry crew members to explore the ocean's depths, study marine life, and assist in salvaging sunken objects or vessels. Its robust construction, including thick pressure-resistant hulls, allows it to withstand extreme underwater pressure, enabling safe navigation and operations in the abyssal zones where very few vehicles can go.
