Janek Bytnar

Janek Bytnar was a Polish resistance fighter during World War II, known for his role in the underground effort against Nazi occupation. As a member of the Polish Scouting and Guiding Association (ZHP), he organized and led efforts to gather intelligence, produce underground publications, and assist fellow Poles. He served as a youth leader and was highly respected for his leadership, bravery, and dedication to his country’s resistance movement. Sadly, he was captured by the Gestapo in 1940 and executed at a young age. Janek Bytnar is remembered as a symbol of youth patriotism and resilience during Poland's struggle for independence.
