Jan Heintze

Jan Heintze is a retired Danish footballer known for his strong defending skills and leadership on the field. Born in 1966, he played primarily as a right-back and was known for his consistency, tactical awareness, and ability to contribute both defensively and offensively. He had a successful club career mainly with clubs like Bayer Leverkusen in Germany and Olympiacos in Greece, winning several league titles and cups. He also represented Denmark internationally, earning numerous caps and playing in major tournaments. After retiring from playing, Heintze transitioned into coaching and football management.
