James (son of Alphaeus)

James, son of Alphaeus, was one of the twelve apostles chosen by Jesus to spread his teachings. While little is known about his life outside of the Bible, he is believed to have been a regular follower of Jesus, possibly related to other biblical figures named James. He is sometimes called James the Less to distinguish him from other James in the New Testament. Though not as prominent in scripture, his role as an apostle highlights his importance in early Christianity’s foundation and the spread of Jesus’ message.
