Jürgen Stroop
Jürgen Stroop was a German Nazi officer best known for leading the suppression of the Warsaw Ghetto Uprising during World War II. He organized and carried out the brutal deportation and destruction of Jewish communities in Warsaw, orchestrating operations that resulted in the deaths and suffering of thousands. After the war, Stroop was captured, tried for war crimes, and convicted at the Nuremberg Trials. His actions are widely condemned as part of the Holocaust, the systematic genocide of six million Jews and millions of others targeted by the Nazi regime.
