J.B. Rhine
J.B. Rhine was a psychologist who pioneered the scientific study of extrasensory perception (ESP) and psychic phenomena in the early 20th century. He founded the Parapsychology Laboratory at Duke University, aiming to investigate reports of mind-to-mind communication, telepathy, and clairvoyance using controlled experiments. Rhine's work involved testing participants under strict conditions to determine if such abilities could be demonstrated reliably. Although his findings generated both interest and skepticism, his efforts laid the groundwork for ongoing research into the possibility of human consciousness beyond the five senses.
