
Iznik Lake
Iznik Lake, also known as Lake of Iznik, is a freshwater lake in northwestern Turkey, near the town of Iznik. It covers an area of about 176 square kilometers and reaches depths of around 17 meters. The lake is fed by several small rivers and drains into the Sea of Marmara through the canal of Iznik.
