Ivy League football

Ivy League football is the varsity sport played by eight prestigious northeastern colleges—Harvard, Yale, Princeton, Brown, Dartmouth, Columbia, Cornell, and Penn. Known for their academic excellence, these schools also compete in NCAA Division I football, primarily within the Football Championship Subdivision (FCS). Ivy League football emphasizes tradition, sportsmanship, and student-athlete balance, with a focus on competitive play and academic achievement rather than just sports success. Although less commercially prominent than some other college football leagues, the Ivy League maintains a rich history and a strong regional following, valuing integrity and camaraderie alongside athletic excellence.
