Itmad-ud-Daulah (Mirza Ghiyas Beg)

Itmad-ud-Daulah, also known as Mirza Ghiyas Beg, was a prominent figure in the Mughal Empire, serving as a noble and the father of Noor Jahan, the wife of Emperor Jahangir. He is best known for his tomb, located in Agra, which is considered a precursor to the Taj Mahal. Built between 1622 and 1628, the tomb features intricate marble inlay work and represents the exquisite Mughal architecture of the time.
