ITM
ITM, or "In The Money," is a term used in options trading to describe a situation where an option has intrinsic value. For a call option, it means the stock price is above the strike price, so buying the stock at the strike price would be profitable. For a put option, it means the stock price is below the strike price, making selling at the strike price advantageous. Essentially, ITM options are those that can be exercised profitably right now, reflecting their current intrinsic worth and often their higher premium compared to out-of-the-money options.
