ISS Expedition

An ISS Expedition is a planned mission where a crew of astronauts lives and works on the International Space Station (ISS) for several months. Each expedition usually lasts around six months and involves scientific research, maintenance, and station upgrades. The crew collaborates with international partners, conducts experiments in microgravity, and ensures the station operates smoothly. Expeditions are numbered sequentially (e.g., Expedition 68), and crew members arrive and depart in rotations. This continuous presence in space advances our understanding of science, technology, and human health in a microgravity environment.
