Israelite

An Israelite was a member of the ancient nation of Israel, originating from the descendants of Jacob (also called Israel) in the Hebrew Bible. Historically, they were a Semitic people who lived in the ancient Near East, particularly in regions now known as Israel, Palestine, Jordan, and surrounding areas.
