Isosceles Triangle

An isosceles triangle is a triangle with at least two sides of equal length. These equal sides are called the legs, and the angle between them is known as the vertex angle. The other two angles, called base angles, are equal in measure. This property makes isosceles triangles symmetrical along the line that bisects the vertex angle. They occur frequently in geometry and design because of their balanced proportions and symmetry. Whether in architecture, art, or everyday objects, the shape provides both structural stability and aesthetic appeal.
