Island Def Jam Music Group was a major American record label company formed through a collaboration between Island Records and Def Jam Recordings. It served as a parent company that managed and coordinated multiple music labels under its umbrella, focusing on a diverse range of artists across genres like hip-hop, R&B, pop, and rock.
