Islamic Renaissance
The Islamic Renaissance refers to a cultural, intellectual, and scientific revival within the Muslim world, primarily during the 8th to 14th centuries, known as the Islamic Golden Age. During this period, scholars made significant advances in areas like medicine, mathematics, astronomy, philosophy, and arts, building on Greek, Persian, and Indian knowledge. It led to increased learning, innovation, and the preservation of classical texts, influencing both the Muslim world and later Europe's Renaissance. Today, the term also signifies contemporary efforts to revive and strengthen Islamic culture, education, and scientific progress.
