Islamic metaphysics explores the nature of reality beyond the physical world, emphasizing the oneness of God (Allah) as the ultimate existence. It posits that everything created by God reflects His attributes and that the soul, or 'nafs,' exists beyond material life, continuing after death. The universe is seen as a sign ('Ayah') of God's power and wisdom, with human beings possessing free will to seek knowledge and spiritual closeness to God. This worldview encourages understanding existence as interconnected, with a divine purpose guiding the unfolding of reality through God's knowledge, will, and plan.
