Islamic marketplace

An Islamic marketplace functions similarly to any market but operates in accordance with Islamic principles, known as Shariah. This means, for example, that transactions must be honest, transparent, and free from interest (riba) or speculative practices (gharar). It emphasizes ethical trading, fairness, and social responsibility. Profits are earned through genuine trade of goods and services, and financial activities are structured to avoid unjust gains. Such markets uphold Islamic values while facilitating economic activity, fostering trust and integrity among buyers and sellers within a framework that aligns with religious teachings.
