ISIL

ISIL, also known as ISIS or Daesh, is a militant extremist group that emerged from the chaos of Iraq and Syria. It aims to establish a strict Islamic state by implementing radical interpretations of Sharia law, often using violence and terror to achieve its goals. The group has carried out numerous attacks worldwide, targeting civilians, governments, and anyone opposing their ideology. While it once controlled significant territory, international efforts have greatly reduced its territorial holdings. ISIL is widely condemned globally for its brutal tactics and extremist beliefs, which violate human rights and undermine peace and stability in the Middle East and beyond.
